Sunset Workshops

Learn how to capture stunning sunset images in these workshops. I have preset locations to shoot sunsets around the Ridgecrest, CA area. By joining these workshops, you will learn how to capture stunning images. If you don't feel comfortable going out alone, this is a great opportunity to meet other like-minded people and enjoy as a group.

You will learn camera settings, where to focus and how to choose a composition to capture the best sunset image. This is a great workshop for beginners wanting to learn sunset photography and will be a fun and entertaining. We will provide you with useful techniques and tips we use to capture those stunning sunset shots.

Length: Approximately 3 hours

Cost: Starting at $80 per person

We will arrive at the shoot location before sunset. This will allow us time to go over camera settings, lighting and compositions to help you capture that perfect shot.

We will be shooting during sunset, golden hour and blue hour. As the sun is nearing departure over the mountains, you can capture stunning starburst affects from the sun. If clouds are in the sky, be prepared for possible epic photo opportunities. Clouds can produce some vibrant colors in the sky shortly after sunset.

If you are interested in sharing your photos with the group and learning some basic photo editing to make your photos pop, you will need to click the "Photo Editing" box when registering for the workshop. This feature is optional for an additional $20. If you select Photo Editing, we will meet at the Ridgecrest Welcome Center for 2 hours the following day. The photo editing session is a great time to share photos with the group, critique photos and learn basic photo editing to really make your images pop.

Preferred Gear:

• Digital camera
• Wide angle lens
• Sturdy tripod
• Graduated ND filter

If you don't have a digital camera, you are welcome to attend using a cell phone.
